Caswell Bay is a very attractive sandy bay and is ideal for surfing, holidays in the nearby Hotels and Chalet Park. A car park is just across the road and access to the beach is relatively easy
Inland from the sandy beach is Bishop’s Wood Nature Reserve,a recreational park, there is also additional parking available. A number of refreshment kiosks can be found right next to the beach.
The Surfside Cafe is open all year round, with sofa and woodburner, bookshelf, and plenty of chairs and tables. They have a great menu of burgers, sandwiches, ciabattas and paninis, cakes, cream tea and coffee. They also do a great breakfast and their bacon rolls are the best ever!!
The beach regularly receives Blue Flag status and is close to the village of Mumbles (approx 10 minutes drive).
Accessible by Bus: Buses 2 or 2A from Swansea Bus Station, alighting at Newton Caswell Avenue (0.5mi/0.8km).
In high season, Bus 2C runs direct to Caswell Bay; no service Sundays & BHM.
